Let me ask you a question…
Within the next 12 months will you and your family take a vacation... either flying, driving or cruising?
(wait for an answer)
When you travel, do you ever book your travel on line with someone like Expedia, Travelocity or Orbitz? (wait
for an answer and listen to what they say. )
When you book your travel on line and pay for it, do you get 60% of the commission that transaction generates rebated back
to you? (wait for them to give you the obvious answer)
Oh, by the way, this is a personal vacation, right? In other words, you are not able to write it off as a business
expense… right? (wait for the obvious answer)
If I could show you how you could take the same trip, same time, same place, same everything and probably get it online at
the same price or a little cheaper, AND... when you pay for the trip you will get 60% of the commission rate rebated back to you,
AND….be able to write it off your income tax, what would your interest level be? (wait for their answer)
Beginner Scripts
- Do you like to travel? Would you like to travel at a discounted price? Take a look at this
information (website, magazine, etc) and I will call you back in a couple of days. What is the best number to reach you at?
- I just started my own online travel agency. Next time that you are looking to vacation...take a
look at my online travel agency and book with me if we are comparable to what you are looking at. (hand them a business card with your
booking engine web address)

this magazine and tell me what you think, I will get back to you in a couple of days. What is the best number to reach you at?
- (Relative or close friend) I just started my own online travel agency, Max's Travel. Next time
you get ready to take a trip, go to my website or give me a call. (hand them a business card with your booking engine
website).
